Who We Are
Over the years the Founders have employed a multidisciplinary, multicultural, multilingual staff in the field of psychiatry, psychology, social work, and nursing.
Our Founders have over 24 years experience in the Behavioral Health, and the Substance Abuse Field.
In 2010 the President established 4 Residential Health Care facilities to address the growing concern for mentally ill homeless individuals. In 2012 the President and Vice President established Monmouth a partial care program belief that a therapeutic continuum of care was essential for the stability of its residents and the mental health challenges community.
New Way Treatment provides a structured program for mental health and addiction treatment in the community allowing clients to work towards obtaining and maintaining mental health stability and sobriety in the context of their existing support system at home and in the community so as not to further disrupt their work and family life.
New Way Treatment consists of licensed multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
New Way Treatment maximizes its clients’ mental, emotional, and physical health through an array of therapeutic, educational, and social services which orient them toward empowerment, optimism, and independence. New Way Treatment promotes clients’ awareness of their inherent potential and value, moves them toward self-knowledge and inspires them to seek and express themselves. By advocating a focus on goal setting and attainment, the program challenges its clients to take their place in the community as productive, contributing, and vital individuals.
Through proven evidence-based treatment modalities and by qualified, supportive, and dedicated professionals, New Way Treatment offers a path to wellness for mental health stability and for the prevention of and recovery from substance abuse and related issues for individuals and their families. The mission of New Way Treatment is to provide effective, therapeutic treatment to individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse-related disorders. New Way Treatment’s mission is to also advance the safety and well-being of the community by engaging treatment professionals, students and education in an ongoing effort to promote and improve the treatment of mental health and prevention of substance abuse.
The primary vision of New Way Treatment is to provide a safe, stable, growth-oriented, and therapeutic environment for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with mental health challenges and/or substance abuse-related disorders. New Way Treatment assists its clients with the redevelopment of their social and community-based living skills. New Ways Treatment maximizes the mental, emotional, and physical health of its clients, families, and community. New Way Treatment promotes its clients’ awareness of their inherent potential and value, moves them toward self-knowledge and inspires them to seek and express themselves.

What We Do
New Way Treatment provides highly specialized treatment for people with severe mental health and substance use/addiction issues, we are proud of the reputation that precedes us, as we have always worked hard to provide clinically excellent care within a space that promotes long-term healing.

Each client at New Way Treatment is encouraged to be an active participant in their health and is believed to possess the capacity to address their mental, emotional, social, spiritual, and physical needs.
In an active, facilitative, collaborative role and proper environment for achievement and growth. New Way Treatment orients clients back to their community through individual and group therapy, while also providing didactic educational workshops, skills training, and activities with meaning and purpose.
We bring an attitude of optimism and growth to an environment that has been associated with limitation, stagnation and the inevitability of protracted illness. New Way Treatment programming focuses on involving its clients in appropriate goal setting, focused on growth and achievement.
Each person who is entrusted to our care follows a personalized treatment plan that we create based on a thorough assessment of their needs and goals. We also provide detailed discharge planning services to guide the posttreatment phases of each person’s recovery journey.
Services
New Way Treatment uses the Living in Balance curriculum which is an evidenced-based program which focuses on cognitive, behavioral and experiential treatment approaches with an emphasis on relapse prevention.
